As a keen basketball player, house captain and a diligent student at Loreto Convent, Lucknow, Ms Zoya Rizvi never thought she would travel the road to this junction where she would rediscover her passion for education. With an experience of almost 20 years in the academic field (both in India and NGO's in Tanzania), it’ll suffice to say that her experience of more than a decade at Kangaroo Kids and Billabong High has been a real learning experience. Starting out as a preschool teacher and now leading a team of efficient facilitators she has continuously worked to better herself and continue her learning. Apart from obtaining teaching degrees (BA,ECCEd,B.ED), Ms. Zoya Rizvi is also the Program Manager of teachers training program( KITDR) which enabled her to connect to passionate facilitators and helped her to empower them. When not at school, Ms Zoya spends time in fulfilling and relaxing pursuits such as reading, painting, knitting, and craft-making. She enjoys socializing with people and is open to interesting and creative work ideas to better her skills and add value to her work. Teaching gives her an opportunity to work on hearts and minds, to guide students and teachers in becoming empowered, literate, engaged, creative, and liberated human beings.

Ms. Anu Prabhakar, a Delhi University graduate, began her teaching career at a reputed International School in the NCR, driven by a passion for education. She later ventured into managing her own play school, emphasizing a happy learning environment. In 2009, Ms. Prabhakar joined BHIS as the Academic Coordinator for Grades 1 to 5. Aligned with BHIS's vision of providing a conducive and engaging learning environment, she collaborates with faculty, students, and parents to implement the curriculum and achieve academic excellence.
As an Academic Coordinator, Ms. Prabhakar conducts learner and parent orientation, as well as training for new faculty members. Her focus is on supporting and guiding the academic team to create an involving and engaging educational atmosphere. She maintains a strong connection with learners, actively collaborating with parents, teachers, and counselors to address behavioral, academic, and other concerns. Ms. Prabhakar advocates for interactive classroom teaching, believing that learning should be a lifelong pursuit with equal opportunities for all learners.

Dr. Preeti Ahuja is a distinguished educator with an extensive background spanning three decades. As the coordinator for the international curriculum, she is leading the school’s efforts for launching the Cambridge program. An alumna of the Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya, Dr. Ahuja holds a Doctorate in Chemistry in addition to MSc & BEd degrees. In her previous positions she has taught all three boards, namely IB, IGCSE & CBSE, and, in fact, continues to be an Examiner with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. Before joining us, she has been part of various prestigious schools such as Step by Step, Noida; Lawrence School, Lovedale; Mt St Mary, Delhi Cantt; and, Aditya Birla World Academy, Mumbai. These diverse experiences highlight her adaptability and effectiveness in different educational environments.

Ms. Ritu Guglani, Senior Academic Coordinator at Billabong High International School, Noida, brings over 25 years of education expertise. With B.Sc in Mathematics and Economics and M.Sc. in Computer Science along with a B.Ed. degree, she is deeply passionate about teaching Mathematics. Her career spans reputed schools in Delhi, Lucknow, and Noida. Ms. Guglani has dedicated 7 years to Billabong High International School, Noida, highlighting her commitment to holistic learning. Recognized for her dynamic curriculum development, tech integration, and student-centric approach, she fosters a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Her leadership extends to organizing workshops, fostering innovation, and nurturing a love for learning. Ms. Guglani actively contributes to the broader educational community through participation in conferences and initiatives, showcasing her commitment to educational excellence.

Tripti Singh is a dedicated rehabilitation professional with 22 years of experience supporting individuals with autism and intellectual impairment, spanning various ages and abilities, along with their families. Currently serving as the academic coordinator at Sanchetna Center for Students with Special Needs, she holds a postgraduate degree in Education and a B.Ed in special education. Tripti's commitment extends beyond her professional role; she mentors and trains families, and special educators, and conducts workshops and sensitization programs for educators. Her hands-on experience is enriched by her role as a proud parent to Siddharth, an adult with intellectual impairment. Tripti's comprehensive approach reflects her passion for making a positive impact on the lives of individuals with special needs and their families.
