The Recognition of an International Dimension in Schools (RIDS) programme, previously known as ISA and IDS, is a prestigious accreditation awarded to schools that integrate global perspectives into their curriculum. RIDS offers a comprehensive framework for developing international activities, promoting community involvement, and aligning learning outcomes with global standards such as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The programme encourages professional development, intercultural collaboration, and enriched educational practices. Billabong High International School proudly applied for the Recognition of an International Dimension in Schools (RIDS) Award for the academic year 2024-25. The school undertook a series of engaging, curriculum-based projects involving learners at multiple levels. These projects not only achieved their intended learning objectives but also showcased the students’ creativity and global outlook through compelling presentations. Each initiative reflected the school’s commitment to embedding internationalism and sustainable development in education.
